Our story
In 1955, Sir Antony Fisher and Lord Ralph Harris founded the Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) to bring innovative, market-based reforms to public policy in the United Kingdom. The IEA laid the intellectual groundwork for market oriented economic reforms and created the suitable environment to allow Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher to apply those reforms. Lady Thatcher commended IEA founders saying: “They were the few, but they were right and they saved Britain”.
In 1981, building on the success of IEA in instigating sound economic reforms in Britain, Sir Antony Fisher founded the Atlas Economic Research Foundation in the USA which later became the Atlas Network. Today, Atlas Network works 400 partners in more than 90 countries across the world using sound business practices and sound economic reforms. Partners in the Atlas Network successfully managed to substantially improve the economic conditions of their countries.
In 2015, LIMS was created as a partner to the Atlas Network in the Middle East, following the IEA model. We provide leaders with sound business practices and market-oriented reforms, enabling them the proper execution of their vision and the delivery of positive change.
